Becki Newton

Becki lived in Guilford, Connecticut. She began performing in local shows and in summer stock theater at age thirteen. She attended many classes in European History in the University of Pennsylvania. Following graduation, Becki immediately moved to NYC to pursue Broadway. In addition to a number of guest star roles and national commercials, such as Cold Case (2003) Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2000) as well as American Dreams (2002) she was cast as Amanda in Ugly Betty 2006. She's married to actress Chris Diamantopoulos, and her brother is actor Matt Newton. They're pretty, but not models of the highest caliber. It's a blessing that I get to leave it to the pros at work and red-carpet events since I'm not able to say that I'm an expert. Still, I'm definitely willing to try new things with regards to my appearance. Glam can be fun! The process of preparing for your day is not about being fussy. Self-care is more important.
